A betrayed will
Indeed, there is something ridiculous about the collective's obedience to the sonata or to the symphony's predetermined plan. Imagine all the symphony composers, including Haydn, Mozart, Schumann and Brahms, weeping in their Adagio, dressing themselves up, and when the last movement comes, dressed as schoolboys, rushing into the courtyard of the recess to dance, jump up and shout desperately that everything is all right and that everything is all right. This is what people call "musical stupidity.". Beethoven understood that the only way to transcend it was to make the structure radically personal. This is the first clause in his artistic Testament for all art and all artists. I say this in this way: the structure (the overall architectural organization) should not be regarded as a pre-existing mold ready for the composer to fill with his own invention; the structure itself should be an invention, an invention that uses the ingenuity of the composer. I cannot say to what extent this passage has been heard and understood. But Beethoven himself was good at drawing all the conclusions from it and using them brilliantly in his last sonatas, each of which was structured in a unique and unprecedented way. Fourteen Sonata Op. III; it has only two movements: the first, jujube seed powder, dramatic, is made in almost classical sonata form; The second, with a contemplative character, is written in the form of a variation (a form which, before Beethoven, carnosic acid price, should be said not to have been used in a sonata): there is no contrast between variations of different characteristics, only a crescendo, which always adds a new subtlety to the previous variation and gives this long movement an extraordinary modal unity. The more perfect each movement is in its unity, the more it is opposed to the other. Uneven length: 1st movement [in Schabel]: 8 minutes and 14 seconds; 2nd movement: 17 minutes and 42 seconds. The second half of the sonata is thus more than twice as long as the first half (unprecedented in the history of sonatas)! In addition, the first movement is dramatic, and the second movement is calm and reflective. However, beginning with drama and ending with such a long meditation, it seems to be contrary to all the principles of architectural style, and the sonata is doomed to lose all the dramatic tension that was so precious to Beethoven in the past. But this is precisely the proximity beyond the intention of these two movements, its language is moving, turmeric extract powder ,lutein and zeaxanthin supplements, it speaks, it becomes the language action in the sonata, it recalls the image of a hard and short life, and recalls the metaphorical meaning of an endless nostalgic song that follows this life. This metaphorical meaning, which cannot be fathomed from words, is nevertheless powerful and sincere, giving a unity to the two movements. An inimitable unity. One can imitate infinitely the impersonal structure of a Mozart sonata; the Sonata Op. III is so impersonal that an imitation of it would be a forgery. Sonata op.III reminds me of Faulkner's Wild Palms. Alternating a love story and a story about an escaped prisoner, the two stories have nothing in common, no characters or even any discernible kinship of motives or themes. This structure cannot serve as a model for any other novelist; it exists only once; it is capricious, unworthy of esteem, and inexplicable; inexplicable because behind it one hears an esmusssein that makes all explanations superfluous. Fifteen Out of his rejection of the system, Nietzsche made a profound change in the way of philosophical thinking: Hannah Arendt thought that Nietzsche's thought was an experimental thought. Its first impulse consists in destroying the fixed, laying down dynamite for the accepted system, opening gaps and venturing into the unknown; the philosopher of the future will be an experimenter, Nietzsche said, free to go in different, strictly speaking, opposite directions.
If I believe in the strong presence of ideas in a novel, it does not mean that I like what people call "philosophical fiction", the subordination of a philosophy and the "telling" of some moral or political ideas. Truly novelistic thought (as it has been since Rabelais) is never systematic; it is undisciplined; it is close to Nietzsche's thought; it is experimental; it breaks out of all the systems of thought that surround us; it studies all the paths of reflection (especially through the characters) and tries to go to the end of each of them. There is also this point about systematized thought: the man who thinks systematizes automatically; this is his eternal desire (and mine, even at the time of writing this book): the desire to describe all the conclusions of his thought; the desire to foresee all objections and to give refutations in advance; the desire therefore to close his thought with a barricade. But the thinking man should not try to convince others of his truth; he would then be in the way of a system; in the sad way of the "man of faith"; the politician likes to describe himself as such; but what is a faith? It is a fixed, fixed thought, whereas the "man of conviction" is a restricted man; the experimental thought does not seek to persuade but to enlighten: to enlighten another thought, to set it in motion; so that a novelist should systematically de-systematize his thought and kick the barricade he has built around his own. Sixteen Nietzsche's rejection of the idea of systematization has another result: a huge thematic opening. The partition between the various philosophical disciplines, which prevents one from seeing the full expanse of the real world, has fallen, and all human things can henceforth be the object of a philosopher's thought. This also brings philosophy close to fiction: for the first time, philosophy is not thinking about epistemology, aesthetics, ethics, phenomenology of spirit, rosmarinic acid supplement, critique of reason, and so on, but about everything about human beings. prius-biotech.com
